Supervisor Meeting Minutes – September 21, 2021

The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building.

Present were Supervisors Dave Dietrich, Doug Smith & Rob Sanders, Zoning Officer Bob Sanders, Randy Hamilton, Tim Hamilton, Dusty Stockdale, Laura Watt, Greg Dunn, Jim & Lauren Watson, Trooper Justin Coda.

Meeting called to order at 7:33.

Motion by Smith to accept the minutes from the September 7 meeting as written. Second by Sanders, All agreed.

Trooper read a report on crime stats for the township throughout the year, which are pretty low.

He took a couple of questions from residents and a request from Dietrich for more coverage on Rt. 18 and 221 if possible.

Road master report read. Laura Watt asked about maintenance of North Alley.  Since it is a private alley, Dietrich said the residents are responsible for the maintenance. They can come get gravel from the township if they need some.

The signs requested for Weir Cole Rd. have come in and will be installed as soon as possible.

Smith will be following up on the Christmas lights.

Randy asked about signs on the truck.  Smith would like to get prices.  Road crew hadn’t really thought about it.

Sanders spoke to Evan Stein about the wifi hotspot set up.  He thinks they will be able to get it done on their own.  Smith brought up that we can ask Mike Verner for assistance if we need it.

Reminder that Fall clean up is Oct 2 from 7-4 and Trick or Treat is October 31 from 2-3.

Motion by Smith to review and pay bills, second by Dietrich.  All agreed.

Meeting adjourned 8:00

Respectfully Submitted,

Pamela Bartolotto
