The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met at the Municipal building for their regular meeting.
Present were Supervisors Rob Sanders, Dave Dietrich and Doug Smith, Zoning Officer Bob Sanders, Greg Dunn, Dusty Stockdale, Dave Watt, Reita Melvin and Rick Newton from the Reginal Revitalization Planning Committee.
Meeting called to order at 7:06(started early due to a conditional use hearing prior to the meeting)
Motion by Chairman Smith to accept minutes from previous meeting as written, 2nd by Dietrich, all approved.
Road report given. The signs are up on Weir Cole Road.
The members of the Regional Revitalization Committee gave an update on how the planning is coming along, meeting, survey, support from county government and state representatives. Discussion on infrastructure and grant writing.
A follow up on the Christmas lights: Smith got a list of steps to be taken. Pole numbers and explanation of decorations to be used need to be sent to WPP. Smith would like to use a 2’x2’ bracket. Smith and Dietrich will try to get pole numbers this week.
The wifi at the park is active.
No new business.
Motion to review and pay bills by Smith, 2nd by Sanders. All agreed.
