The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building. Present were Supervisors Sam Bartolotto, Rob Sanders and Dave Dietrich, Randy Hamilton, Doug and Pegg Smith.
Meeting called to order at 6:00.
Public Participation: Randy Hamilton asked about the progress with the street lights. 3 requests have been submitted and we are still waiting. He also commented that he would like the police to stick with the 0 tolerance policy.
Doug Smith offered to split the cost of the Christmas Candles. Pam will see what Dennis Makel donates and let Doug know. He also asked about the Fios installation, who is doing the work and when will it be done? Verizon has contracted out the work with different companies and the lines are projected to be completed by the end of the year. He asked about well activity on Harvey. Dietrich said they are plugging a well there.
Motion by Sanders to accept the minutes from the last meeting as written. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
Police Report: Nate was sick last week, Will took his place while he was out.
Road Report was Read.
Fire Dept report: There were 14 calls last month. Dave responded to 2 during work hours.
Financial report was available to review.
No Old Business
New Business: Motion by Sanders to approve Heavy Haul agreement with Columbia Gas for a portion of Minton Run Rd. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
Trick or treat will be held on Sunday, October 30 from 2:00 to 3:00
