No Old Business.
In new business: A representative from PA American Water stopped by the office last week with a fire hydrant maintenance agreement for the township to sign. We were supposed to have had the agreement since the water lines were put in, but PA American forgot about it, so we are not going to be responsible for the cost for those years that were not under agreement.
Motion by Sanders to sign the agreement for 16 hydrants that are currently in the township at a cost of approximately $20 per hydrant per month. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
PA American is also working on a plan to extend the water line from the South Franklin Township border out Rt. 221 to RT 18 in Morris Township. They are getting a cost estimate together and will present it to the township when it is complete.
A Heavy Haul agreement for .2 miles of Valley View Rd was submitted from CNX. They paid the application fee and the escrow amount and the bonding is in place.
Motion by Sanders to approve the agreement, seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
Motion by Sanders to review and pay bills. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
