The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building. Present were Supervisors Sam Bartolotto, Dave Dietrich & Pat Bracey, Zoning Officer Bob Sanders, Rob Sanders, Bruce & Mei Yee Livingood, Randy Hamilton, Mike & Billie Schwarz.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00.
Public participation: Randy discussed the walking trail cost and asked if updates on grants over a certain amount could be brought up at each meeting.
Mike Schwarz asked about income specifics for the General Fund.
Motion by Bartolotto to approve the minutes from the last meeting as written. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
Road report was available for review.
Financial report was available for review.
Police report was read by Bartolotto.
Old Business: Pennsylvania Parks, who administer the park grant we will receive in 2025 requested a sign be allowed to be placed in the park acknowledging businesses who donate to the fund. It is a yard sign on a wire holder, not a permanent sign.
Motion by Bracey to approve a sign to be placed in the park when the funding is received. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
New Business: Two heavy haul agreements were submitted by Consol. One for a portion of Old Concord and one for a portion of Lemon Hill. All bonding is in place and fees were paid. Engineer’s review has been completed. Motion by Dietrich to approve both agreements. Seconded by Bartolotto. All agreed.
Motion by Bracey to adopt the updated handbook. Changes were made to the vacation policy; an attendance policy was added, and job descriptions were updated.
Seconded by Bartolotto. All agreed.
Dietrich explained issues that occurred with Truck 2. It is at Poleset now being looked at.
Motion by Bartolotto to approve and pay bills. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
