The Supervisors of Morris Township met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building. Present were Supervisors Rob Sanders, Dave Dietrich and Doug Smith, Zoning Officer Bob Sanders, Sam Bartolotto, Greg Dunn, Glenn Crouse, Dave Watt, Randy Hamilton, Tim Hamilton, Mike Verner & Kathleen Koehler, Patrick Bracey.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Smith at 7:31. Motion by Smith to accept minutes from July 6 meeting as written. 2nd by Dietrich. All Agreed.
Road Master report read.
In old business: Smith mentioned that the Range Road work on Pie Ridge has been done. Discussion about ARP funds. Waiting on guidance from state on spending requirements. Discussion about Range truck traffic. On the water cap in the Alley beside Mary Allison’s house, PA American is having a new cap fabricated by Lagonda Machine.
In New business: Kathleen Koehler was present to represent the Morris Township Historical Society with a request to put a link on the Morris Township web site to information on the Historical Society.
It will not cost the township anything as Mike Verner, who manages the web site will do it at no charge.
Discussion on Historical Society planned activities and Community picnic.
Question about progress of walking trail. Still in the paperwork phase. No work can be done until all DCED requirements are met.
Motion by Smith to review and pay bills. 2nd by Sanders. All Agreed.
