The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building. Present were Supervisors Sam Bartolotto, Rob Sanders and Dave Dietrich, Zoning officer, Bob Sanders, Greg Dunn and Randy Hamilton.
Meeting was called to order at 6:00.
Public Participation: Randy Hamilton asked about the pond and fishing docks/bridge. There was also discussion on interest rates.
Motion by Chairman Sanders to approve minutes from the previous meeting after fixing a typo and the omission of CNX to the discussion of the signs.
Seconded by Bartolotto. All agreed.
Police report was reviewed by Bartolotto.
Road report read by Dietrich.
Old business. The Consol Heavy Haul agreements are finally complete. Motion by Sanders to approve agreements for Minton Run and Horseshoe Bend roads. Seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.
The Consol Conditional Use Hearing for the G6 Bleeder Air Shaft facility will be on August 1 at 7:00.
The paving of the walking trail is complete. There is still some finishing up to do but it is walkable.
In New Business: There were a couple of notices received from the county about the Comprehensive Plan and the most recent Sheriff’s Sale.
Motion by Sanders to review and pay bills. Seconded by Bartolotto. All agreed.
