The Board of Supervisors of Morris Township held their regular meeting at the Municipal Building. Present were Supervisors Sam Bartolotto, Patrick Bracey and Dave Dietrich, Chief Will DeForte, Randy Hamilton, Mike & Billie Schwarz, Doug Smith, Rob Sanders, Jodi Fonner, Tom Dorsey.
The meeting was called to order at 7:38 upon the conclusion of the reorganization meeting.
Public participation: Doug had a question about the BOS Chair/Vice Chair. Randy requested more visits from representatives. There was talk about Consol and water testing.
Motion by Bracey to approve the minutes from the last meeting as written. Seconded by Bartoloto, all agreed.
Police report given by Chief DeForte. Will now give monthly report instead of twice a month. Spoke of picking up hours in E. Finley and Canton Townships.
Fire Report: 3 calls were responded to during work hours in the last month. There were 206 calls in 2024.
Road Report was given by Dietrich.
Old Business:
The cinder shed doors are in.
Financing for Trucks, we are waiting on paperwork from Washington Financial.
Act 537 Planning update, first invoice has been paid and reimbursement received from the State grant.
Randy made a comment about the cleaning and Verner Web studio agreements.
No new business.
Motion by Bracey to review and pay bills, seconded by Bartolotto. All agreed.
