Supervisor Meeting Minutes – January 18, 2022

The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building.  Present were Supervisors Sam Bartolotto, Rob Sanders, and Dave Dietrich, Zoning Officer Bob Sanders, Solicitor Dennis Makel, Greg Dunn, Randy Hamilton, Tim Hamilton, Glenn Crouse, Pat Bracey, Doug Smith, Jeff Mooney.

Meeting called to order at 7:30.

Motion by Sanders to approve minutes from previous meeting as read, second by Bartolotto.

Road master report read.  Financial report will be available next meeting, statements were late.

Solicitor’s report:  Advised that agenda needs adjusted to move the public participation period. Agenda and adding issues to it addressed. ARP funds and grants discussed. The need for a Public Participation Policy addressed. 

No old business.

In new business:  A public participation policy was brought up.  The Supervisors would like to go over the details and decide what should apply to our meetings before making any decisions on it.  Motion by Sanders to table the policy until the next meeting, second by Bartolotto.  Copies of the policy will be available for the public to look over and comment on for the next meeting.

Brief discussion and motion by Sanders also to table a decision on the Fee schedule until the next meeting, second by Dietrich. 

Discussion on changing meeting time.  Motion by Sanders to move meeting time from 7:30 to 6:00 on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, second by Bartolotto. 

Public Comments:  Randy reiterated his desire to have overtime information on the road masters report and a list of building permits issued. Brief discussion of walking trail progress.

Motion by Sanders to review and pay bills, second by Dietrich.
