The Morris Township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal Building. Present were Supervisors Sam Bartolotto, Patrick Bracey and Dave Dietrich, Zoning Officer Bob Sanders, Chief Will DeForte, Greg Dunn, Randy Hamilton, Bruce Livingood, Doug Smith, Shirley Harris, Mike &Billie Schwarz. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.
Public Participation: Randy request that salaries for employees be set at reorganization meeting and asked for status of Act 537 Planning.
Motion by Bartolotto to accept the minutes from the previous meeting as written. Seconded by Dietrich, all agreed.

Police Report was given by Chief DeForte.
Fire report was given by Dietrich, 16 calls in the last month, 6 responded to during work hours.
After discussion on truck financing and interest rates, because the loan rate and the interest we are earning on our accounts are very close to the same, we would basically be borrowing money for nothing. Based on that, a motion was made by Bracey to finance both trucks through Washington Financial until interest rates drop and at that point, pay one truck off completely and continue the financing on the other truck. Seconded by Bartolotto. All agreed.
Motion by Bartolotto to pass Resolution #3 of 2024, setting the tax rate for 2025 at no change: Tax rate total 0.073 mills, divided as follows: 0.486 to the general fund, 0.122 to the Capital fund and 0.122 to the VFD. Seconded by Dietrich, all agreed.
Motion by Bartolotto to pass Resolution #4 of 2024, setting final budget as presented at the November meeting. Seconded by Dietrich, all agreed.
Motion by Bartolotto to review and pay bills, seconded by Bracey, all agreed.
