The Morris township Board of Supervisors met for their regular meeting at the Municipal building.

Present were Supervisors Rob Sanders and Doug Smith, Zoning officer Bob Sanders, Greg Dunn, Sam Bartolotto, Karen Shaw, Tim Hamilton, Randy Hamilton, Glen Crouse.

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm.

Motion by Smith to accept minutes from previous meeting as written.  Second by Sanders.

Road masters report read.  Smith commented that he thinks our road crew does a good job on the roads.

In old business:  Amity Asphalt(for Range)  did a nice job on Pie Ridge Road.

The Watson application will be heard at the Planning commission meeting on August 9.

The cap in the alley next to Mary Allison’s house has been fixed.

Walking trail was briefly discussed.

In new business: Bill Hook sent a letter that he will be retiring as of the end of this year.  His nephew will be taking over.  They will be coming to the hearing/meeting on August 17.  There was a discussion on Attorneys.

Glenn Couse had a concern with Lemon Hill Rd. It has washed out a bit.  The road crew will drag the road.

Randy would like Morris Township to be on the pick up truck.  Decal prices will be looked into.

He also has an issue with Supervisor Sanders parking a trailer on township property.  He stated that there are weeds growing around it and that it is trespassing.  An argument ensued with the resident walking toward the Supervisors table and calling the supervisor a name.  Chairman Smith said the road crew should trim the weeds around the trailer and the subject should be dropped because nobody else is bothered by the trailer being there.

Motion by Smith to review and pay bills.  Second by Sanders.

Meeting adjourned 8:00
