Old Business:  Discussion on complaints from residents about speeding through the township.

Will Deforte from the Green County Regional Police Department was present to discuss the possibility of having coverage by the GCRPD. Discussion on the increase in staffing and coverage availability. They would be able to offer 24 hours per week of coverage plus be on call for emergencies. Discussion about the previous contract and what changes might be made to a new one, such as the splitting of fines instead of GCRPD getting 100% of them. Solicitor Makel stated that a resolution must be made for an agreement. We will get an agreement to review before the next meeting.

Marcy Lindley asked about cell towers in the township.  Rob Sanders stated that people have tried in the past to get towers but no companies were willing to put their equipment on them. Discussion of options to better service. Dennis Makel talked about “small cells” that are placed on utility poles as an option.  Pam has an appointment with State Senator Camera Bartolotta next week and will ask about how we could go about getting something like this done. She also mentioned a hole in the road in front of the store. Bartolotto stated that he has been in contact with PennDOT numerous times about it.

New Business: Sam & Pam Bartolotto attended a Grant workshop put on by Camera Bartolotta last week and met with people from various state departments and received a lot of good information to help with future grant projects.

Discussion of the Community Picnic meeting. Dennis Makel offered to split the cost of the pig for the pig roast.

Mention of the Liquid Fuels audit, which will take place next week and of the 2020 results that have been received and were available to review.

Motion by Sanders to review and pay bills, seconded by Dietrich. All agreed.

Meeting adjourned at 6:45pm
