Clean and Tidy Our County, Inc (a non-profit) is looking for volunteers to help clean up Washington county! Organizing meetings are February 5 and March 5, 2022. Scheduled Cleanup Days are March 26, April 2 (bad weather makeup date), May 21, June 25, August 20, and October 5, 2022. Find out more by calling 724.456.1780.

Prosperity’s Spring Clean-Up is scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 7:00am until 4:00pm at 4572 Prosperity Pike in the village of Prosperity (Township Cinder Shed). There has been a request from a resident to move the veterans’ memorial, presently located along Rt. 18 near the church property. If moved, it would be placed near the municipal building by the flag pole. The request was made to make parking for and access to the memorial easier and safer. We will be discussing this at the Supervisor meeting on Tuesday, July 21 at 7:30 pm, at the municipal building at 77 Park
