Road master report read.   No questions on financial report.

Smith asked about taking walking trail to planning commission. Sanders stated that the solicitor said it is not necessary.  Randy asked to see specs.  They will be presented at a future meeting.

Topic moved to Range Resources.  Pam will check to see if they will be able to meet if we gather in the garage where there is much more space.   We’re still waiting on word from the solicitor about the conditional use agreement.   Smith went over the conditional use agreement from 2011.  He stated that in his opinion, it is the only leverage we have for them in getting things done that we want in Morris Twp.

Motion by Smith to approve resolution to increase Tax Collectors commission from 3% to 5%, taking effect in 2022 with the next term.   Second by Dietrich.  All agreed.

In New business: Dietrich brought up a problem with one of the dump trucks, there was discussion about it.

A resident questioned a vehicle parked on township property. Discussion ensued.

Marty asked about the length of the walking trail.  There was discussion about trail surfaces.  Dietrich suggested that we have the engineer attend the meeting where the trail will be discussed.  Dusty asked about it being wheelchair accessible.  There will be more discussion on the plans, costs, etc…at a future meeting.

Aileen Smith asked about the pledge to the flag, why it isn’t happening.  Smith stated that he doesn’t think it is necessary.  He thinks everyone is patriotic.

Motion by Smith to review and pay bills, second by Dietrich.  All agreed.

Meeting adjourned at 8:15
